In this fun and creative pottery workshop, children will design and build their own ceramic fish or butterfly wall art using real clay. Participants will learn simple hand-building techniques as they shape, decorate, and personalise their creations with textures, patterns, and colourful glazes.
Whether they choose an ocean-inspired fish or a whimsical butterfly, every piece is completely unique and designed by the child. Our friendly instructors will guide them through each step, encouraging creativity while teaching the fundamentals of working with clay.
Children will decorate and glaze their piece during the workshop, creating a special keepsake that can be proudly displayed at home. Hanging holes are included, making it easy to display once finished.
No previous experience is required, and all materials are provided. After the workshop, pieces will remain at Shaka Pottery to be professionally fired and glazed. Finished artworks will be ready for collection approximately 3–4 weeks later.
