About Us
Pottery for myself (Brad) was born amidst us all in lockdown. At the time feeling a little bored and looking to express my creative flare i was instantly hooked after my first lesson. 6 lessons later i carried on my development teaching myself over the course of a year beginning to sell my work and found myself in a position of this being a full time thing for me. So i took the plunge, quit my fifo job and hustled away! Pottery being a unique and long process i then needed an extra pair of hands and who better to get involved than my wife Harriet who we now call the glaze queen! Harriet has naturally fallen into her key roles and learnt all skills outside of pottery wheel work. Fast forward to today we are now a team of 4 and still hustling out of our humble garage located in Falcon, Western Australia
Let customers speak for us
from 101 reviewsThis beautiful handmade turtle mug is truly more than just a simple vessel—it's a heartfelt piece of art, full of meaning, warmth, and sentiment. The delicate design, with its sweet turtle and subtle ocean details, evokes a sense of tranquility and connection to nature. The gentle blending of ocean blues and soft pinks in the shell shows the love and care that went into every stroke, making it a piece that speaks to the soul.
What makes this mug even more special is the personal touch it carries. On the bottom, a heartfelt message reads, a reminder of the thoughtfulness and love woven into each handmade creation. It's not just pottery—it's a beautiful gesture that fills my heart, and I know it will be something I’ll cherish for many years to come.
Turtles, in so many cultures, symbolize endurance, wisdom, and the balance of life. As my daughter holds this mug, I can feel those values—quiet yet powerful—embodied in the simple beauty of the piece. With every sip, there's a deeper connection, a reminder of the stillness and strength of the ocean. It’s not just about the drink; it’s about the spirit behind it.
For anyone considering purchasing from this artist, know that you’re not just buying a mug—For our personal reasons we invested in a story, a piece of spiritual culture, and a gift that will warm your heart each time you use it. For us, this mug is more than just a keepsake; it’s a symbol of love, endurance, and connection. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone searching for something unique, meaningful, and deeply sentimental—whether for a loved one or as a cherished treasure for yourself.
