A Lockdown Hobby
Turned Family Business

Shaka Pottery began during lockdown as a small spark of curiosity that quickly turned into something much bigger. When our first daughter, Macy, was just born, pottery became my (Brad’s) way to slow down, create, and reconnect with something real.

After a few lessons, I was completely hooked. What started as late nights experimenting in our garage soon became a full-time craft — and eventually, our family business.

Coastal Roots.
Creative Soul.

Our early work was shaped by the colours, textures, and movement of ocean life — a reflection of the coastal lifestyle we love here in Western Australia. Over time, our style has evolved to explore new themes like bees, florals, and even a western collection, but our creative spirit has always stayed the same: vivid, bright, expressive, and unapologetically handmade.

Pottery, Parenthood
& Purpose

Shaka Pottery has always been a family thing. What began with me (Brad) is now shared with Harriet, my wife, our small team, and our two little ones, Macy and Rio (future clay pros in training). We’re still creating from our home studio, where mugs are made with love and little clay handprints aren’t out of the ordinary.

Sharing the
Joy of Clay

One of the most rewarding parts of this journey has been inviting others into the world of pottery. We now host workshops from our Falcon studio — cozy, casual sessions where people can come together to create, connect, and get their hands dirty (in the best way). Whether you’re here to learn or unwind, you’re always welcome at our studio.

Thanks for Being Here

At its heart, Shaka Pottery is about family, creativity, and the beauty of making something real with your
own two hands. Whether you’re holding one of our mugs or shaping your own in a workshop — we’re so
glad to share this with you.
