Our premium stoneware clay will stay fresh for 3–4 weeks when stored in an airtight bag or sealed container. For longer storage, wrap it tightly in plastic and keep in a cool, shaded spot.

Yes! Every tool and cutter is reusable — just wash and dry after each session. They’re great for mugs, bowls, planters, or small decorative pieces.
You can use our Mail-In Firing Service add-on — we’ll glaze and fire your mug, then return it to you ready to use.

Each kit contains one base glaze and two or three decorative mini glazes in ocean-inspired tones. All glazes are food-safe and compatible with Cone 6 firings.
Building your mug takes 1–2 hours. Drying time is 5–7 days, and if you’re mailing it to us, allow 2–4 weeks for glazing and return shipping.
Each kit includes a damp storage container to keep your piece safe. When ready, package it using the prepaid satchel included with the Mail-In Firing option and send it to our studio for firing.
You can! Just note that acrylic paint is for decorative use only — it’s not food-safe. To make your mug functional, glaze and kiln-fire it instead.
Tiny cracks can usually be smoothed before firing. If your piece breaks in shipping (rare!), send us a photo and we’ll help troubleshoot or offer a discounted clay refill.
