Decorate A Mug Workshop

Start with a handmade Shaka mug body prepared for you. Attach a handle, then make it your own with clay details, stamps, textures and slip trailing. We’ll demonstrate each technique and help bring your ideas to life.

• Full access to our cutters, stamps, texture tools and materials

• Standard all-over glaze and professional kiln firing
• Your finished, functional mug after firing

A standard all-over glaze is included. Detailed glazing, with individual sections painted in different colours, is available for an additional $35. We’ll show you examples during the workshop so you can decide then.

• Duration: 2.5–3 hours
• Location: Falcon, Western Australia
• Experience: No pottery or artistic experience needed
• Group size: Maximum 12 people
• Age: Designed for adults; separate kids workshops run throughout the year

Wear comfortable clothes you don’t mind getting a little clay on. All tools and materials are provided.

We dry your mug, fire it, add your glaze and fire it again. It will be ready in approximately 3–4 weeks. We’ll keep you updated and send an email and SMS when it’s ready for collection.

Tickets are non-refundable. Contact us at least 48 hours before your workshop to move your booking to another available session. Late cancellations or no-shows may result in your booking being forfeited.
